Army Worm Control

Today Army worms are the caterpillar life stage of a moth. Army worms will eat existing turf until the food supply is exhausted. Then the "army" will move to the next available food source. In established lawns, the damage will not be detrimental. Although it will turn brown, the lawn should bounce back in approximately 2-3 weeks. Army worm damage will be more severe in newly sodded lawns. For army worm control, we offer an insecticide treatment. The cost of this service will be the same as your regular lawn application. Please call our office if you would like to schedule this service. If you prefer, you may purchase and apply your own insecticide for army worms, we highly recommend "Sevin."If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call.Thank you!
