Core Aeration And Topdressing

KingGreen no longer offers top dressing services (3/5/2020).

KingGreen core aeration will open the soil surface for better exchange of air and moisture as well as deeper penetration of vital nutrients to the root system. This process of lawn aeration will reduce compaction of our clay soils and aid in the decomposition of excess thatch.

This is the best time to have the core aeration service performed to your lawn, as now is when the grass is actively growing and it can take advantage of the core pockets that we punch into your lawns soil structure.Top Dressing your lawn is another way to relieve soil compaction.

It also reduces thatch buildup, improves drainage and increases nutrient absorption. By applying sand we will help to even up the low spots in your lawn. Performing topdressing in your lawn will make the mowing go smoother and reduce mower blade damage caused by a bouncy mower.

The King GREEN topdressing process includes core aeration, fertilization, and topdressing with PGA grade sand at a rate of 1 ton of sand per 1,000 sq. ft. We will then drag the sand freeing any buried runners to speed up their spreading around and then clean up the lawn before we leave. Please contact our office with any questions or to request a quote for this service.
