Core Aeration Overseeding Preparation And Aftercare
At King GREEN, we make every effort to ensure you're completely satisfied with our services. To get the best possible results from your core aeration and overseeding, your participation is important too. Please follow the instructions below for optimal results.
PREPARATION:
Mow the lawn to a height of 1" to 1.5". Flag all sprinkler heads, invisible dog fences, or anything that could be damaged by the aerator. Water the lawn thoroughly prior to the service.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Fescue seed must be kept moist to germinate. Water the lawn every day for 15 to 30 minutes.
Continue daily watering for three (3) weeks. After that, gradually reduce watering to every other day, then every third day.
Wait at least three (3) weeks before mowing your new fescue. When you do mow, be sure to use a sharp mower blade.
You may begin to see weeds as you water to establish the new grass. These will be treated once the turf is mature enough to tolerate weed control.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for choosing King GREEN to care for your lawn.
