Lawn Topdressing

Lawn topdressing is an excellent way to relieve soil compaction. It also reduces thatch buildup, improves drainage, evens out terrain, and increases nutrient absorption. Lawn topdressing is usually more beneficial when it is done properly and routinely by lawn care professionals.

Lawn topdressing involves adding a thin layer of nutrient filled soil and fertilizer over your lawn, which in turn helps to improve your lawn’s soil without damaging the existing turf. Topdressing improves your soil and lawn health gradually over time, because as the organic matter breaks down, it filters through the old soil.

The King GREEN lawn topdressing process includes core aeration, fertilization, lawn topdressing with USGA grade sand at a rate of 1 ton of sand per 1,000 sq. ft., dragging and spot leveling.
